I ❤️ MailTape

This morning, we’re not far away from next week’s shores. So, it’s the perfect moment to chill, discover and adopt the seaside musical atmosphere of Vendredi Sur Mer. Where pop and psychedelism make a unexpected melt.

Vendredi Sur Mer’s selection:

Claude Violante - I Kill By Night

Vendredi sur Mer: This track give me the impression of being unbreakable. The kind of song that you listen loud in your headphones, with a feeling of being powerful, almost a super-hero ! It’s a cool representation of ourself ! Sometimes we should glorify ourself ! We fuckin worth it.

Octav - Man from the Stars

VsM: To continue in psychedelic mood I’ll listen this one to fly away upon earth. But still in my super-hero suit.

Bengale - Je Danse le Mia (I Am Cover)

VsM: To conclude, down to earth, I propose a great cover of I Am “Je Danse le Mia” by Bengale. It’ll give you the strengh to endure your sunday brunch in a wood with a book and … a nice girl. Or a guy, as you want, but it’ll be less romantic.

Mailtape’s selection

Vendredi Sur Mer - La Femme à la Peau Bleue

Maxime: It’s a hit, that’s all. The second shot of Vendredi Sur Mer is still in the middle of the target.

Puma Blue - Want Me

Maxime: This track does not make you waking up. And I recommand you to close your eyes right now. Let’s imagine what could do a army of talented King Krule’s wannabe to help mankind.

Drugdealer - Suddenly

M: Drugdealer entire first album is in a personnal playlist that I called “Les Apôtres de Mac Demarco” with such artists like Mild High Club or Homeshake. Drugdealer bring another universal influence in this Demarco’s testament: a huge influence from the genesis of Pop Music.

Pépite - Eviter les Naufrages

M: Well, Pépite, I invite you to listen the Mailtape we did with them (here). I’ve only got superlative to describe what their music make me feel. In my mind they are already classics. They write well, compose well, sing well, play well. They got everything to be huge in the next few years.

That’s all folks! Thanks to Vendredi Sur Mer for his selection. We hope you enjoyed this episode. Enjoy your Sunday!
